Four girls of the Spring Bud InnoGirls Program were invited to Beijing to showcase their self-programmed Rubik's Cube robots to Chinese and foreign guests attending the reception for the International Women's Day on March 6.
From being too nervous to speak to confidently presenting themselves at the National Convention Center, the girls have used technology as wings to achieve self-transformation and grow toward a bright future.
Since the China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) and Tencent Foundation jointly launched the Spring Bud InnoGirls Program in 2021, more than 10,000 girls from 10 provinces and autonomous regions have enhanced their sci-tech literacy and comprehensive abilities by taking inclusive sci-tech courses and participating in practical activities.
