The 2021"Eternal Love Action—One-Line Linkage of Millions of Families"Project was launched through the audio app of China Media Group,the country's leading media platform,on December 28,2021.The project's organizers invited children of various ethnic minorities to express their expectations for the upcoming Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games through drawings,and organized loving parents to knit sweaters with the patterns drawn by the children.

Chen called on people from all walks of life to continue to support the project.She also said she hoped the project's participants would always be ready to help others,and that may place a premium on the fine social custom.Chen added that many children in need would receive help and loving care from the project's participants.

Gu Haoning,deputy director of the Market Development Department of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games,said that the event combined the charity project with the promotion of the Winter Olympics culture.He also said he hoped more people would have a better understanding of the Olympics,and do something to cheer for Chinese athletes who compete during the Games.

According to the CCTF,86 central and State organs,and the women's federations of 30 of China's provinces,municipalities or autonomous regions,including the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps,participated in the project in 2021.The project's participants conveyed their love and care to children in need through the knitted sweaters.

Zhang Liying,Vice-President of the Women's Federation of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,said that through the project,women and children of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang would perceive love and care from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC),as well as from people in various parts of the country.

"Eternal Love Action"was launched by the CCTF and Hengyuanxiang Group in 2005.In the past years,Hengyuanxiang Group has donated 102 million yuan(US$16 million)in cash and materials,including more than 335,000 kilograms of woolen yarn.Millions of families,from China's provinces,municipalities or autonomous regions(including the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps),and from China's Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan and staff members of central and State organs have knitted sweaters for 1.23 million children in need and those living in border areas.The project was named one of the most influential charity projects in China in 2008,2009 and 2015.
