A health education program for adolescents entitled"She Can"was launched by the China Children and Teenagers'Fund(CCTF)and Kotex,a leading woman care product brand of Kimberly-Clark,in Guangzhou,capital city of South China's Guangdong Province,on November 19.
As part of the nation-wide Spring Bud Project—Dream of the Future Action,"She Can"program aims to spread adolescent physical and mental health knowledge to girls,improve their understanding of adolescence,and prevent physical and mental problems caused by the changes it brings about.

The program will build online and offline platforms,and provide public welfare support to adolescent girls and families in need.
A total of 300,000"She Can"bags with care products will be distributed to girls from over 1,000 secondary schools across the country.Experts will be organized to provide teachers and school doctors with vocational training and to lecture students and their parents on adolescent health.

Zhu Xisheng,Vice-President and Secretary-General of the CCTF,said at the launching ceremony that it is important to properly guide girls to adapt to the various physical and mental changes during the adolescence and the promotion of the popularization of adolescent health education requires attention from the whole society
Zhu added that the project is expected to help girls better master adolescent health knowledge,raise their self-protection awareness and competence,improve teachers'and school doctors'ability in health counselling,assist parents to better communicate with their children,and foster a positive educational environment and a happy family atmosphere for girls.

Xu Hong,President of Guangdong Women's Federation,said that the women's federations should give full play to their unique advantages to promote the implementation of the project and make it reachable by more adolescent girls and their families.
