"She Can",a health education program for adolescents initiated by the China Children and Teenagers'Fund(CCTF)and Kotex,a leading woman care product brand of Kimberly-Clark,has earned widespread recognition and praise since its launch in November 2021.
Training courses on adolescent health education for girl students,parents and school doctors will be conducted in succession among 29 provincial regions,and a total of 300,000"She Can"bags with care products will be distributed.
The education commission of Tongzhou District in Beijing has listed the"She Can"program as one of its regular on-campus public welfare projects.Many girls said that they have been deeply impressed by animated videos on adolescent health,adding that they have improved their understanding of adolescence and formed healthier lifestyles.
Research conducted in Guangdong Province shows that the"She Can"program has greatly met the demand of adolescent girls,and provided them with explanations for various physical and mental changes during the adolescence.
A girl from the No.19 Middle School of Fuling District in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality said the"She Can"program addressed her worries and concerns about adolescent issues and made communication between her and her parents more effective.
The"She Can"program has built online and offline platforms,and provided public welfare support to adolescent girls and families.
So far,it has benefited nearly 2.17 million adolescent girls,parents,teachers and school doctors.
