Here, we want to share with you the results of the year's work and relive some warm moments. As of the end of December 2020, the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund had a total annual income of 421 million yuan and a public welfare expenditure of 399 million yuan. It carried out relief operations against the new crown pneumonia epidemic and the "Spring Bud Program", "Hello Kids", "Happy Children's Home", and "New Projects such as "Parent Academy/National Online Parent School" benefited more than 2 million children.

*Assemble kindness to help the epidemic area

At the beginning of the new year, a fierce battle against the new crown pneumonia epidemic sounded the charity rally. The China Children and Teenagers' Fund has extensively linked social love, raised a total of 113 million yuan in funds and materials, and relied on social organization partners and women's federations at all levels to carry out assistance:

★Distribute 23606 sets of "Child Health Epidemic Prevention Kits" to orphans and children in fact unsupported children in Hubei Province;

★Donated 390,000 cans of infant formula milk powder and complementary food to families with breastfeeding difficulties and lack of supplies due to the impact of the epidemic;

Last year, the "Spring Bud Project", which started with subsidizing girls' education in poverty-stricken areas, helped to win the battle against poverty. Throughout the year, the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund provided education assistance to 59,010 impoverished girls in the "three districts and three prefectures", old revolutionary base areas, and border ethnic minorities. With more financial support, girls can buy more food in the school cafeteria, buy more teaching materials, and have more confidence and courage to chase their dreams.

In addition to helping girls to go to school smoothly, the "Spring Bud Program" has focused on girls’ physical and mental growth in recent years and launched the "Spring Bud Companion Program" to continue to focus on girls’ study and life in various forms such as accompanying services, offline home visits, online communication, and correspondence State and mental health help them grow into accepting, brave, independent and kind women. The "emergency and sorrow" of left-behind children and children in need in rural areas has always been an important concern and focus of work of the China Children and Teenagers' Fund.

In 2020, China Children and Teenagers' Fund will donate 171 "Happy Homes for Children" in areas where left-behind children are concentrated. "Children's Happy Home" is equipped with computers, books, cultural and sports equipment and other hardware facilities, and carries out care activities such as custody services, psychological counseling, and safety knowledge training. Children can go to their homes to read, paint, exercise, and play musical instruments after school and on weekends. The management staff regularly organizes children to communicate with their parents who work in other cities through hotlines and videos. Since its implementation in 2014, the project has effectively alleviated the problems of left-behind children in life care, family care, safety protection, and mental health due to long-term separation from their parents.
