In January 2020, 20 girls from impoverished families in western China successfully completed the hairdressing skills training course at Sichuan Biaobang International Vocational College and obtained a certificate of completion.

"The improvement of professional skills has made me more confident and gradually made myself more outgoing. In the short study life, I also made many friends. The classmates in the class love each other and help each other. This kind of feeling is not experienced in my original life. What I have learned and felt here will guide me to develop better in this industry," said Li Ruilian, a trainee from Min County, Gansu Province.
"Through training, we not only learned a skill, but also let us know that learning is endless, and clarified the importance of learning goals and theoretical foundations. We need more practice and hard work on the road in the future. The important thing is that we change You have to be more confident and have clearer goals and plans for the future,” said Li Xiaoqing, a trainee from Xuanhan County, Sichuan Province.
These girls in their teens and twenties, due to family poverty and other reasons, interrupted their studies after graduating from junior and senior high schools. The " Nuskin the Spring Bud Project" allowed them to re-enter the classroom and apply what they learned.

The hairdressing skills training class started in December 2019. The students passed theoretical study, practical training, special lectures and other courses, as well as the hairdressing occupational appraisal examination, and the course will be completed in January 2020. Of the 20 trainees, 14 went to work smoothly to work in companies or hairdressing shops, and the other 6 trainees chose to enter higher vocational schools to continue their studies. The rate of obtaining the completion certificate of the trainees was 100%, and the employment rate was 100%. The hairdressing skills training class ended successfully.

The "Nuskin Spring Bud Program" charity project was jointly initiated by China Children and Teenagers' Fund and Shanghai Nuskin Charity Foundation in October 2019. It aims to help school-age girls from poor families in poverty-stricken areas in western China and three districts and three states to accept occupations. Skills training helps them to enter the society steadily, enjoy employment opportunities, and achieve their personal and family lift out of poverty. Up to now, the " Nuskin Spring Bud Program" charity project has funded 50 poor female students at school to give them awards/studies; it has opened hairdressing training classes and provided free vocational skills training for 20 girls from poor families.
Next, the "Nuskin Spring Bud Program" charity project will open a beauty skills training class that is more popular with girls during the summer vacation. The training class plans to provide vocational skills training for 40 girls from poor families and 100% recommend employment ( Including entering higher vocational education for further study), the enrollment work is now in full swing. I believe that as the project continues, it will help more girls from poor families realize their self-worth and change their future destiny.
