The "Happy Children's Home" donated by SM China was held on October 11th in Xihe Town, Zichuan District, Zibo City, to create a happy world for more than 100 left-behind children with learning, reading and cultural activities. This is the third children's happy home project donated by SM China through the China Children and Teenagers' Fund.

During the unveiling ceremony, nearly 20 left-behind children wrote on the balloons what they wanted to say to their parents. The children flew the balloons and hoped to convey a message to their parents far away. The contestants of the "2019SM Child Star Selection" also presented carefully prepared gifts to left-behind children. After the unveiling ceremony, the children experience toys, books, facilities and equipment in the children's happy home together. They also scribbled together on long scrolls. A picture expressing the wishes of left-behind children became colorful under the children's brushes. The child star also wrote words of encouragement to left-behind children. The 10-meter-long scroll condenses the left-behind children's longing for their parents and their deep friendship. It is understood that the project is the first happy home for children in Zibo City, covering an area of ​​about 100 square meters. It is located on the second floor of the Kindergarten in Xihe Town. It is especially equipped with communication equipment such as computers to provide left-behind children with regular video calls with their parents, making family connections more convenient. After the start of the project, the local women's federation and SM shopping mall will also organize volunteers to carry out a variety of cultural and sports activities from time to time, so that the left-behind children can get more companionship.

Since 2018, SM China has donated two “Happy Children's Homes” in Leshan, Sichuan and Nanping, Fujian. Projects in Chongqing are under preparation. SM China plans to donate at least 2 happy children's homes every year. It is estimated that at least 10 projects will be donated within 5 years. The target provinces and cities will cover Fujian, Sichuan, Suzhou, Chongqing, Shandong, Tianjin and other places to provide reading, Playgrounds and facilities, as well as thoughtful services such as education and psychological counseling, build a shelter from the wind and rain for thousands of left-behind children.

Since the launch of the plan to donate children’s happy homes, all SM China’s shopping malls have set up “children’s happy homes” donation points. Any donation can receive small love gifts provided by SM. At present, it has received the love of nearly 6,000 citizens Donations, all donations will be used to build happy homes for children.
