On September 17th, a charity event entitled “Spiritually Caring for the Faith in Life and Continuing to Write a Love” ‘Spring Buds Plan’ and ‘Happy Home for Children’ was jointly held in Macau by the Goodwill Society of Macau and the China Children and Teenagers ’Fund. The All-China Women's Federation Executive Committee, the chairman of the Shanming Society, the director of the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund, Chen Meiyi, the assistant secretary general of the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund, and the director of the project management department Hu Wenxin addressed the dinner. Zhang Shenju, deputy director of the Coordination Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, attended the event, and nearly 400 people from all walks of life in Macao participated in the event.
With the strong support of the Central People's Government's Liaison Office in the Macao Special Administrative Region, this event launched fundraising on the spot of the banquet, and posted public interest advertisements, special interviews, and bank notes on ATV, ATV, Macau newspapers, and taxi bodies. Funds were raised through publicity forms such as leaflets and user manuals. A total of MOP 3.846 million, or about 3.3 million yuan, was used to donate to the "Spring Bud Plan" and "Children's Happy Home" public welfare projects.
The dinner invited freshman Zhou Yuanlan, a freshman girl from Guangdong Wuyi University, to share her growth experience.
