In 2019, the project will donate the “Parent-child Reading Tour” and the “Parent-child Story Sharing” activities, donate “Parent-child Reading Package”, and develop “Online Family Education Course”. Scientific project content, rich theme activities, through the combination of online and offline education, play demonstrations and actions in the whole society, disseminate scientific family education concepts, cultivate and practice socialist core values, and inherit Chinese excellent traditions. Culture and good family style promote new trends in family civilization.
Zhu Xisheng, secretary-general of the China Children and Teenagers' Fund, said that the family is the basic cell of society and an important basis for national development, national progress, and social harmony. Family education has a profound impact on children's growth. Parent-child reading can cultivate good reading habits for children, promote parent-child relationship harmony, and create a good family atmosphere. The "Future Family Education Program" has directly benefited more than 10,000 families. Kou Huping, deputy director of the China Children's Center, said that education is the country's great plan. Wan Yiting, President of Public Affairs of Tomorrow Advancing Life Education Group, said that in the future, he will continue to cooperate with China Children and Teenagers Foundation and China Children's Center to promote the promotion of family education in a more diversified way. In the future, Tomorrow Advancing Life will cooperate with the family education service, such as parent help, XRS, and Libu English, to provide expert consultation, internal resources and education technology services, and work with all parties to build a family education promotion platform in which parents, children, experts and volunteers participate. During the event, the leaders presented the experts' appointment letters to the experts. The experts shared their views on parent-child co-reading strategies, parent-child reading requirements for parents, and when they began to read a lot of different perspectives.
Prof. Chen Hui, a professor at the School of Literature of Beijing Normal University and a doctoral tutor, and director of the Chinese Picture Book Creation Research Center, shared: “Children’s reading is a gradual process. At the launching ceremony, Professor Chen Hui gave a special lecture on "Parent-child Co-reading in the Young Connection Stage", and more than 200 parents attended the lecture. In 2019, the first "Family Story Sharing Session" offline activities were also held simultaneously at the China Children's Center, and invited the children's favorite story, "Little Group Sisters", to bring fun and interesting story sharing sessions to the family.
It is reported that the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund and Tomorrow Advancing Life Education Group launched the Future Family Education Program Public Welfare Project in 2018. The project in 2018 directly benefits more than 10,000 families, covering 26 provinces (cities) across the country, and more than 100 off-campus educational units actively participate.
