From September 4 to 6, 2019, China Children and Teenager’s Fund and FAW Volkswagen Audi jointly held the Spring Bud Dream Growth Camp in Beijing. The camp members include 80 Spring Bud girls from 8 provinces and regions in China, including Qinghai, Xinjiang, Guangxi, Guizhou, Inner Mongolia, etc.

The purpose of this camp activity aims to comprehensively improve the overall quality of girls through the research and practice activities with the theme of patriotism and excellent traditional culture, and actively help girls in spring buds to further broaden their horizons, establish their dreams, and constantly enhance their personal moral cultivation and social responsibility.

Zhu Xisheng, Secretary General of China Children and Teenager’s Fund, pointed out at the closing ceremony that the students in spring buds dream camp have fully felt the care and love from all aspects of society in their multi day learning activities, and they should turn their emotion into action, work hard and study hard, bloom the most beautiful themselves, grow up and take the responsibility given by the times, and become qualified socialism Successor.

The girls from spring buds came to the Palace Museum, China Academy of Space Technology, China Science and Technology Museum and other units to carry out in-depth research and education activities in China's outstanding historical and traditional culture and science and technology. In addition, they also participated in the solemn flag raising ceremony of Tian'anmen Gate, climbing the great wall of Juyongguan, and feeling the 5000 year history of China and the feelings of homeland. Through a variety of practical activities, the children broadened their horizons, ignited their dreams, and accumulated new strengths for bravely chasing dreams, building dreams, and dreaming.

At the closing ceremony, the children recited the classics of "Youth China" in unison, demonstrating the growth of self-confidence and the inspiration of the struggle. Mukaides Mamaiti Abdullah, a third middle school in Xinjiang, and who is attending the event, said, "I am very fortunate to be able to participate in the Spring Bud Dream Camp. In 1989, under the guidance of the all China Women's Federation, China Children and Teenager’s Fund launched the spring bud program, which aims to support girls who have dropped out of school in poverty-stricken areas to continue their studies, improve school running conditions in poverty-stricken areas, and assist the state in developing children's education and welfare undertakings. Over the past 30 years, the spring bud program has funded more than 3.69 million spring bud girls nationwide, donated 1811 Spring Bud schools, provided vocational education and training for 527000 girls, and compiled and distributed 2.17 million sets of bud protection manuals.

FAW-Volkswagen Audi has always cared for the healthy growth of children and adolescents as an important part of corporate social responsibility. In the future, the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund and FAW-Volkswagen Audi will launch a special fund to continuously cultivate in the field of patient orphan rescue and children's ice and snow education, and widely promote more social forces to join in and help the sustainable development of China's public welfare undertakings.
