Cultivate new people and carry forward the new trend of the times. On March 19, the “Takeoff Plan” public welfare lecture tour of quality education and “Sunshine Education in Family and School” training courses of China Children and Teenagers’ Fund (CCTF) were officially launched in Harbin.

Liu Ying, vice president of Harbin Women’s Federation said that Women’s Federation at all levels need to grasp the direction of family education guidance and service, do a good job in relevant investigation and research, and increase publicity and popularization. Family education cadres should cherish learning opportunities, improve themselves through training, focus on family education practice in future work, take the initiative to participate in local family education work, and strive to train themselves to be experts. 

On the training class, Psychologist Dr. Li Tao of Beijing Normal University gave a speech of “The Personality Development of Family Education”, focusing on the forming process of children’s personality development and the importance of family education in children’s development. In his speech, he used reasonable teaching and cases to help the students to improve family education method and raise the level of family education. 

Jiang Huili, chief researcher at the Basic Education Research Center at Beijing Normal University, using the lively cases and comprehensive language around “emotional intelligence education of the family education” to share with students. Through the combination of thematic teaching and interaction, students can further enhance the sense of responsibility and mission to do their work.

The special lectures expand professional knowledge and skills of students, and not only let the students gain knowledge, but also grow friendship. Students all said that they would not forget the original intention, to promote the city’s family education and make their own contribution to new development.

Family education is a long-term plan for the healthy growth of the next generation, the well-being of the family and the progress of social civilization. In 2019, Harbin Women’s Federation have established a system of joint conference for family education work in combination with other organizations, and organized “Takeoff Plan” and “Sunshine Education in Family and School” with City Bureau of Education of Harbin, to further promote the scientific, standardized and institutionalized family education work.
