With the development of China’s economy and the rapid growth of car ownership, the issue of safe travel for children has increasingly become a focus of social concern. According to a report on the situation of road traffic injuries among children in China, road traffic injuries have become the second leading cause of death among children aged 0-17. At the end of 2018, CCTF and BGIF started to promote children’s traffic safety education. Through a series of activities and initiatives, such as children’s traffic safety education on campus, children’s traffic safety video creative competition, campus mobile traffic light donation, children’s safety seat initiative, etc., to enhance the road traffic safety knowledge and awareness of school-age children and build a protective net for children’s travel safety.

It is reported that the children’s traffic safety education program plans to use 5 years to promote safety education activities in primary schools across the country.
