On January 23, 2019, the opening ceremony of the “Dialogue with Master - Traditional Culture Winter Camp for Children” jointly launched by China Children and Teenagers’ Fund (CCTF) and Good Future Education Group was held in Beijing. In the coming week, 60 poverty-stricken left-behind children from Hebei and Inner Mongolia will visit Beijing’s ancient buildings, schools and museums with cultural heritage under the guidance of experts, fully experiencing the charm of Chinese culture and absorbing its essence.

“Dialogue with Master - Traditional Culture Winter Camp for Children” holds the mission of “Aspire to Tao, According to Virtue, Base on Benevolence, Travel in Arts”. Based on the classic Chinese culture, the camp aims to guide campers to understand and touch the Chinese civilization through personal experience, cultivate their learning and creative ability, and further stimulate their national pride.

A team of state-level art masters, non-inheritors and renowned cultural scholars will lead the children to appreciate the magnificence of the Forbidden City, the majesty of the Great Wall and Imperial College, the depth of Weiming Lake culture and the Rapid development of science and technology in China. The activity also provided precious opportunities for children to learn traditional architecture knowledge, listening to traditional literature and art lectures, experiencing intangible cultural heritage projects, and feeling modern science and technology. Under the guidance of experts, children can accumulate profound and excellent Chinese traditions in their hearts and integrate them into their daily lives.
