On September 21, the "Kangzhi Children's Heart, Building Dream with Books” - the donation event of the Kangzhi Red Cheek Foundation and Red Cheek Library of Guangdong Qingyuan School" jointly carried out by Kangzhi Red Cheek Foundation and Guangdong Chaoren Overseas Sodality Association was held in Lianhe District Primary School in Qingyuan, Guangdong.

At that day, Kangzhi Red Cheek Foundation set up four "Red Cheek Library" in Shedun Primary School, Damanshan Central Primary School, Panshi Primary School and Woshui Central Primary School respectively, to guide children to love reading, and to expand their vision through reading to achieve a better future. The children also presented their own paintings and handicrafts to the caring people.

In 2016, Kangzhi Red face Foundation launched the project of "Red Cheek Library", which has entered Guangxi, Jiangxi, Henan, Yunnan, Hebei, Xinjiang, Shandong and other places, and has helped more than ten primary schools in rural areas set up "Red Cheek Library" to improve children's extracurricular reading life.

Guangdong Chaoren Overseas Sodality Association has long been enthusiastic about public welfare, actively carrying out charity activities such as poverty alleviation and assistance. With the help of Kangzhi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd and Kangzhi Red Cheek Foundation, the association send out its caring materials and "spiritual food" to children. It is looking forward to helping children in Liannan rural area to have a better reading environment and grow up healthily and happily.

In the event, when asked why to create Kangzhi Red Cheek Foundation and why named "Red Cheek", Hong Jiangyou, the chairman of Kangzhi pharmaceutical and founder of the Kangzhi Red Cheek Foundation said, when he was a child, because of  poverty, he and his brothers and sisters lacked of nutrition, and their face were greenish yellow, while the children of their neighbor were all having red cheek because of good economic condition. Thus, red cheek indicated healthy. He hoped to help children in rural areas with both physical and mental health, and the Kangzhi Red Cheek Foundation was founded.

Hong also said that in the future, the Kangzhi Red Cheek Library will be set up in more schools of rural areas across the country, so that those children can feel the fun and power of books, and gain a better life through reading.
