"I learned the first aid bandage, and make simple stretchers". Feng Qichen, a student of the fourth grade of No. 38 Elementary School in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, said excitedly after taking the safety education course. The "Children Safety Education Project" and "Take-off Plan" of CCTF were officially launched in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps from Sept 19 to 20.

Chen Xiurong, the former Vice President and Secretary of the Secretariat of All-China Women Federation, and Vice President of the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund attended the event, and donated 1 Safety Experience Classroom, 300 Children Quality Education Courses on behalf of CCTF.

Xu Xu,the Deputy Secretary-General of CCTF, said that organizing and implementing public welfare projects for children's healthy growth in both physical and mental aspects have always been an important part of the work of CCTF. The Xinjiang "Children Safety Education Project" and "Take-off Plan",are the implementation of the spirit of national education conference  practical action, and a service of children's art of morality, intelligence and physique full scale development of all nationalities in Xinjiang. The project will help children enhance safety consciousness, master of disaster prevention knowledge, improve the ability to cope with sudden dangerous self-help, as well as help the children firm ideal faith, strengthen the patriotic feelings, strengthen the moral cultivation, growth of intellectual knowledge, cultivating fighting spirit, and enhance the comprehensive quality.

The Deputy Secretary and President of the Women Federation of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,and the Deputy Inspector of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps expressed gratitude to CCTF and said that in future, they will cooperate with education departments and so on, to carry out the two projects together, and create a better safety environment for children or adolescents in Xinjiang.

After the ceremony, the first course of safety education and the first lesson of quality education were formally introduced. In the class, children learned to protect themselves, such as first aid dressing, simple stretcher making, emergency signal and other good habits of risk aversion and moral cultivation, as well as good methods of creative thinking through simulation exercises.

Leaders and guests from the education system of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, Public Security Fire Control system, Women Federation system related unit also participated in the event. It is reported that the "Children Safety Education Project" by CCTF has been launched in 2010, donated  "Security Experience Classroom" and "Safety Experience Center" in more than 70 cities, and set up safety education tours, benefiting more than 10 million children, teachers and parents.

Launched in 2017, the "Take-off Plan" public welfare project has helped children and adolescents to establish good quality, healthy personality and good behavior habits, and helped parents to improve their education and guidance ability to children through carrying out public welfare speaking activities of children's comprehensive quality. At present, nearly 100 quality education courses have been carried out in Tianjin, Tonghua and Zunhua, benefiting nearly 10,000 students and their parents.
