Zhu Xisheng, the Secretary-General of CCTF said that “Keep the Best Time” is a public welfare event with the theme of games, which makes families and education organizations pay more attention to parent-child companionship and peer relationship. Under the support of Guinness Company, the organizers organized 100 schools and kindergartens children to launch a challenge to the longest paper plane queue record. Through the simple game of origami paper folding, students were encouraged to set up lofty ideals from childhood, build a beautiful “Chinese Dream” together, and write down their dreams to fly away.

At the site of event, 14,825 paper planes were connected from head to tail with red, orange, yellow, green, blue and other colorful paper formed interwoven ribbons, covered the entire floor of the basketball arena. All the planes came in all shapes and sizes, some with wide wings and sharp heads, some were straight and streamlined, some like fighter jets, and some with full-length wings and lifelike tail...

Some children wrote on the paper planes: every time I see many people shed tears because of illness, I can do nothing about it. I hope to be a doctor when I grow up and be a person who is good for the people. Some want to be a good teacher, to deliver more knowledge to students. Other want to be philanthropists, because this can help poor children and let them study well; or simply hope parents do not work so hard. Every paper plane carried a little dream, and the tens of thousands of small dreams came together into one big dream, representing the epitome of the “Chinese Dream”.

At the end of the event, guests and children released paper planes, which danced in the air, creating rainbows connecting students’ reality and dreams. Tens of thousands of small dreams were gathered into one big dream, which was condensed into the “Chinese Dream” that children yearn for the great ideal and good life, enabling children to participate in public welfare event while cultivating patriotism.

Representatives of Ma Dajie Food, Mark, the Director of Guinness World Records and General Manager of Greater China, and Pan Zhi, Director of Marketing of Greater China of Guinness World Record, as well as poor students in Laiyuan, Hebei province attended the event.

The “Keep the Best Time” campaign, which began in 2017, has received works not only made from materials such as origami and colored clay distributed by the organizers, but also from home-purchased materials such as ceramics and shadow puppets. The works include not only paper planes, but also traditional cultural works such as Peking Opera masks and 12 zodiac animals, as well as themed works such as the 2020 Beijing Olympic Games. What the organizer sent is only a simple material, but the process of accompanying, hands-on experience, and joy of cooperation bring the children the harvest of family affection, friendship and entertainment.
