Five charity foundations, including the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund (CCTF), the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, the China Youth Development Foundation, the China Population Welfare Foundation, and the China Guanghua Foundation held a meeting on May 16, to discuss how to improve charity foundation’s information technology development, risk control, and legal compliance.
With the in-depth application of the Internet in all walks of life, paperless operation of the foundation has become a general trend of the public welfare industry.
All five foundations have developed their internal information systems. However, in the face of a substantial increase in crowdfunding business, the participants discussed how to achieve crowdfunding user big data management, and financial accounting work regarding a large number of online small amount money donation.
The issues of finance and project information sharing and the access to online income/expense procedure were also be discussed to improve foundation’s internal management and operation.
