The “Happy Childhood, Happy e Station” community integration charity project organized a speech activity at Yuancun community in Guangzhou’s Tianhe District, on April 27, 2018. The project’s promotion ambassador Yan Anzhi's gave an inspiring speech to share his experience.
The activity was sponsored by China Children and Teenagers’ Fund (CCTF) and supported by Guangdong Guoqiang Charity Foundation.
Yan Anzhi, who is fluent in English, Chinese, and several other languages, told his own story of growth. Surprised by his language talent, the audience would never have imagined that he had been diagnosed with autism when he was 3 years old. Under the guidance of his father, he stepped out of his own world, learned to speak, and learned to be independent and confident, just like an ordinary child. Yan's speech brought hope to many families with autism.
There was a tai-ji pushing hands lecture during the event. The Tai-ji pushing hands training and interaction are thought to bring benefits to children's growth and development, and coordination training. It can effectively enhance communication skills, and help children integrate into the community..
