Xu Xu (1st L), deputy secretary-general of the CCTF, awarded honorary certificates to caring people.

The Summer Fund has helped some poor families with leukemia children receive timely assistance in the past two years, and it will continue to increase rescue efforts and prevent more children with leukemia from giving up treatment because of poverty, said Xu Xu, deputy secretary-general of the CCTF.

Wang Hairong, founder and donor of Summer Fund, speaks about her experience of doing charity.

The Summer Fund was established in April 2016, and its original intention was to let people know that leukemia can be cured by early detection and early treatment, said Wang Hairong, founder and donor of Summer Fund.

“Providing help and saving children with leukemia need a lot of time and effort. The process is long, but I’m willing to do this and I’m willing to keep doing it”, said Wang.

"An individual’s strength is small, but everyone contributes a little, the strength will become great. We hope more people will join us."

In the past two years, the “Summer Fund” has saved 33 leukemia children, and helped 600 and more.

A charity auction was held with all raised money being donated to the "Summer Fund" for the rescue of leukemia children.
