The Ninth Meeting of the 16th Council of the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund (CCTF) was held at the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) On April 2, 2018.
Song Xiuyan, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, and Deng Li, Vice-President and Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, attended the meeting.

Complying with the CPC Central Committee’s targeted poverty relief standards, the CCTF has made active efforts in poverty alleviation through education and health care, as well as in care and services for left behind children in its charity projects in 2017, said Song Xiuyan. A total of 397 million yuan ($62.98 million) of social donations and funds were donated to more than two million children.
In addition, the CCTF increased both corporate fundraising and public fundraising efforts last year, with the annual public welfare income exceeding 500 million yuan for the first time, setting the highest record for the past 36 years since the establishment of the CCTF, she added.
The CCTF has also gained great reputation as it is ranked the top place in terms of the China’s most transparent foundations rankings, which was come up with by the Jiemian Magazine.

The meeting approved that Xu Xu serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the CCTF, and Ma Jianyin, associate professor of the Beijing Normal University’s Law School, as the supervisor of the CCTF. CCTF’s 2017 work report, plan for 2018, and the council’s working rules were reviewed at the meeting.
