CITIC-Prudential Insurance Donates Money for “Escort Project”

CITIC-Prudential Insurance, a subsidiary of CITIC Group, donated RMB10 million yuan to the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund (CCTF) for the use of the “Escort Project”.

Zhao Xiaofan, general-manager of CITIC-Prudential Insurance, announced the donation at its brand conference and donation ceremony held on Nov 29 in Beijing.

The China Children and Teenagers’ Fund (CCTF) CITIC-Prudential Insurance and China Securities International, signed an agreement on the “Escort Project”, a charity project to protect and care for children who study abroad, on Nov 15, 2017, in Beijing.

The project is going to be launched by the CCTF after serious survey and preparation along with other national departments and organizations. It is aimed to provide low age children who study abroad with care, Chinese culture access, and services assurance, to help them maintain confidence abroad.

The project is under preparation and will be launched soon.
