The China Children and Teenagers’ Fund (CCTF) CITIC-Prudential Insurance and China Securities International, signed an agreement on a charity project to protect and care for children who study abroad, on Nov 15, 2017, in Beijing.
The project is going to be launched by the CCTF after serious survey and preparation along with other national departments and organizations. It is aimed to provide low age children who study abroad with care, Chinese culture access, and services assurance, to help them maintain confidence abroad.

Low age children will encounter many challenges when they go abroad, including personal safety, adaptation to new environment, and mental health problems, said Zhu Xisheng, secretary-general of CCTF.

Zhao Xiaofan, general manager of CITIC-Prudential Insurance, a Sino-British joint venture, said the company will make best use of its advantages and resources to support the implementation of the project by offering free air accident insurance and psychological counseling to Chinese families and overseas students.
The project is under preparation and is expected to be launched soon.
CITIC-Prudential Insurance and China Securities International are two subsidiaries of CITIC Group.
