A sudden earthquake hit Yushu on Apr.14th, leaving the county in ruins and local people in severe needs of food and other necessities. Hungry mothers are unable to provide sufficient breast milk to their babies, and many babies are thus in poor nutrition and in worrying health status. The first 6 to 12 months after birth is critical to an infant’s growth. Therefore, supplying nutrition food to these infants in Yushu is quite urgent. The donated Heinz Supergold Nurturance 2 Follow-on Formula is newly launched in China and 100% imported from Europe. It is a stage 2 product of Heinz infant milk formula series, suitable for infants aged between 6 to 12 months. These products are expected to improve the nutrition and health of over 4,000 infants in the quake zone.
