Li Na, China's National Tennis Team player, donated her China Open Prize money, a total of $135,000 (about 900,000RMB) to the CCTF on Dec 22th, 2010. The donation will be used to help build Hearty Room and Heart Playground for the Wuhan Children`s Welfare.

The Ceremony was held in the Wuhan Children's Welfare. During the ceremony, Li Na talked about her original intention. "Children are the future of our country, orphans and disabled children need even more help. I would like to start from the foundation by contributing to the rooms for that will aid their rehabilitation. I hope my funding action can raise more concerns on orphans?and disabled children's rehabilitation."

Chen Xiaoxia, the Secretary General of CCTF accepted and award the donation credential. She spoke highly of the tennis player and advocated more help could be collected for the orphans' and disabled children's growth and health. Liang Huiling, the President of Hubei Provincial Women`s Federation also presented.
