Wang Chaomei, a resident of Maoshan Town, Luquan County, Kunming, capital of southwestern Yunnan province, received yesterday a nutrition package from the China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) for her two-year-old son.

Vice Chairperson of the National People's Congress Standing Committee and President of the CCTF Chen Zhili and Vice President and Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF Meng Xiaosi attended the donating ceremony and presented nutrition bags to representatives of local women and children representatives.

The National Action to Eliminate Infants' Anemia so far covers 35 poverty-stricken counties in western China, including Yunnan's Luquan County, Shuangbai County and Longchuan County. It provided nutrition packages to 230,000 infants and children.
