Zhu Lihong, a passenger clerk at the Changchun Railway Station in Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin Province, has been hailed by passengers as 'China's Most Beautiful Wheelchair User' because she has provided services for 8,000 senior citizens, pregnant women and disabled passengers over the past two years.

Zhu says that she was inspired by Lei Feng, a young People’s Liberation Army soldier in the 1960s who became famous after his death for his selflessness and modesty.

When the railway station was under construction in 2010, Zhu began helping disabled passengers get to a special waiting room.

Zhu has received 32 letters, 28 silk banners and 230 compliments from passengers over the past two years. In May 2012, she set up a room with her co-worker, Huang Meiting, to provide better services to disabled and disadvantaged passengers.

In June 2012, she opened a reservation hotline and distributed about 1,000 of her contact cards to passengers to make it easier for them to get tickets.
