Caffebene donated 100,000 yuan (US$ 16,284) to the China Children and Teenagers’ Foundation (CCTF), on May 7, 2013 to help children in quake-hit Lushan city, in southwest China’s Sichuan Province. The largest coffee franchise brands in Korea Caffebene decided to donate one day of its national branches' turnover the day the earthquake hit Lushan, which received an enthusiastic response from the franchise workers. The staff of the company also organized donation activities spontaneously and sent messages of care and blessings to the Lushan victims on video.
Lushan was hit by a magnitude 7 earthquake on April 20, 2013.
The donations ceremony
