Chinese children's medicine producer, HONZ Pharma, recently donated food, medicine and cash worth over 10 million yuan (US$ 1.6 million) to the China Children and Teenager’s Fund (CCTF) to aid people affected by the earthquake in Ya’an city, southwest China’s Sichuan Province.

On April 22, 2013, HONZ Pharma urged its employees to donate money to the cause. The company’s trade union and administrative department held a fundraising event where its employees made their donations.

HONZ Pharma has said that it will encourage its cooperative partners to donate as well.

In 2011, the company jointly established the ‘HONZ Healthy Growth Foundation’ with CCTF, aiming to improve the nutrition and health of poverty-stricken children.
