The 'Caring for Children in Tongjiang City' donation ceremony was held in Tongjiang City of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province on May 15, 2013.

The project was jointly sponsored by the China Children and Teenagers' Foundation (CCTF), Johnson & Johnson (China) Ltd., CPC Tongjiang Municipal Committee and Tongjiang Municipal People's Government.

In attendance were CCTF Secretary General Chen Xiaoxia, General Manager of Johnson & Johnson (China) Ltd. Zhou Mintao, Vice Inspector of Heilongjiang Women's Federation Bai Jinchan, leaders from State Administration for Industry & Commerce of the People's Republic of China, Tongjiang Municipal People's Government, Tongjiang Women's Federation and 100 student representatives.

Johnson & Johnson (China) Ltd. donated baby skin care products worth 2.15 million yuan (US$ 0.35 million) to children in Tongjiang via CCTF this year and raised 700,000 yuan (US$ 114,362.3) to aid children in quake-hit Ya'an city in southwest China's Sichuan Province after a 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit the area in April 2013. The State Administration for Industry & Commerce of the People's Republic of China and related publishers also donated books to children in Tongjiang City.
