The 'Caring for Early Childhood Education' Donation Ceremony was held in Huangzhuang School in Shijingshan District of Beijing on May 27, 2013.
The project was jointly sponsored by the China Children and Teenagers' Foundation (CCTF), Beijing Women and Children's Development Foundation, Shijingshan Women's Federation and Beijing Kingee Culture Development Co., Ltd.
In attendance were Vice Director of CCTF Cooperation Department Liu Peng, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Kingee Culture Development Co., Ltd. Huang Cui'e, Director of Program Department of Beijing Women and Children Development Foundation Li Li and Vice President of Shijingshan Women's Federation Zang Yiqing.
Beijing Kingee Culture Development Co., Ltd. donated 12,660 sets of brand-new early childhood education products worth 141,4206 yuan (US$ 230,936) to help improve the early learning environment of thousands of migrant children.
Director of Program Department of Beijing Women and Children Development Foundation Li Li acknowledged the donation and called on the public to pay more concern to migrant children.
"It is every enterprise's responsibility to care for children," said Deputy General Manager of Beijing Kingee Culture Development Co., Ltd. Huang Cui'e.
To celebrate the upcoming International Children's Day, children gave performances at the event and received gifts.
