Beijing Royal Foreign Language School Donates to Quake-hit Lushan

Teachers and students of the Beijing Royal Foreign Language School donated more than 40,000 yuan (US$ 6527.9) to earthquake-stricken Lushan County at a donation ceremony held on May 28, 2013.

Principal of Beijing Royal Foreign Language School Zhang Hongliang made a speech in which he said that the funds would be used to reconstruct schools in the quake-hit area.

Lushan County in southwest China's Sichuan Province was hit by a 7.0-magnitude earthquake on April 20, 2013.
