CCTF, CNR Launch Action to Help School Dropouts

A project to help poverty-stricken children who have dropped out of school resume their education was launched in Beijing on September 3, 2013.

The '2013 Music Radio And Haima Automobile Dropout Help Action' was initiated by FAW Haima Automobile Co., Ltd. and Kappa Combat, and sponsored by China National Radio (CNR) Music Radio and China Children and Teenagers' Foundation (CCTF). Many honored guests attended the launch event, including celebrities Fan Fan, Angel He and Demon.

Community short film San Xian Shou also had its world premiere that day. As the lead actress, Angel He shared with attendees her feelings and experiences while shooting the film. Fan Fan and Demon also shared their experiences of recording the theme song for the action.

Director of CNR Music Program Center Chen Fusheng introduced the charity efforts that CNR has made over the last 10 years. 'We will focus on left-behind children in the Gansu, Qinghai, Guizhou and Sichuan provinces this year. The action will raise three years worth of living allowance for them and set up a Home for Left-behind Children,' Chen said. He also thanked all those who have lent support to the action.
