Two important events —the 25th anniversary of the ‘Spring Bud Plan’ and ‘Beautiful China Love Trip’ will be launched in 2014. Zhao hoped that media would create a good social atmosphere for the children's charity development and raise public awareness. Zhao stressed that media should report more on grass-root people to understand their needs and to publicize charity events. In addition, media should provide suggestions and ideas to charity organizations and play a greater role in public supervision.

Zhao also affirmed that public media have made great contributions to China Children and Teenagers Foundation’s charity projects. Such conference is a good platform for children’s foundation and media to collaborate.
