Beijing-based Reputation Certified Public Accountants donated a total of 100,359 yuan (U.S. $16,290) to the cerebral palsy children project of the China Children and Teenagers' Foundation (CCTF) in Beijing on August 1, 2014.

Launched in May 2014, the cerebral palsy children project aims to help children from poverty-stricken families with cerebral palsy receive medical treatment and rehabilitation training.

Statistics from the China Foundation for Disable Persons shows that China has about 1.75 million patients with cerebral palsy nationwide, while patients aged 0-6 years amounted to 310,000, with an annual increase of 46,000.

Vice-General Secretary of the CCTF Wu Zhenying extended his congratulations to the accounting firm on its 10th anniversary and expressed his gratitude for its charitable act.

Wu further listed the firm's charitable achievements, such as providing free auditing for buildings after the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake in southwest China's Sichuan Province and donating money for education in Chicheng County in north China's Hebei Province. The accounting firm has also called for all other firms and individuals to contribute to children's public welfare undertakings.

In honor of its charitable contributions, the accounting firm was awarded with the 'China Children Charity Award — Loving Devotion Award' in 2011 while General Manager Chen was awarded with the 'China Children Charity Award — Remarkable Contribution Award' in 2012.
