Garment manufacturer ABC Kids has donated children's shoes to the China Children and Teenagers' Foundation (CCTF) to help with quake relief in Zhaotong, southwest China's Yunnan Province.

The 2,500 pairs of shoes, worth about 480,000 yuan (US$78,136), were shipped to Zhaotong on August 10 and arrived a week later.

Children in Zhaotong have been in urgent need of shoes since a 6.5-magnitude earthquake jolted the region, destroyed houses, caused thousands to be injured and left hundreds dead on August 3, 2014.
