China Children and Teenagers' Foundation (CCTF) have recently launched a new model of children's public welfare program, "Voices Sent Especially to You" in joint collaboration with Xinghe 18, China's biggest entertainment brokerage firm and Zhejiang Hengyang Culture.
The public account of the welfare program initiative has been made available on WeChat (a messaging app). Stars from Xinghe 18, including pop stars such as Ke Lan, Su Xiaoming, Guo Xiaoting, Wang Xin and Liu Liwei, recorded themselves softly and affectionately reading stories. They expressed hopes that children with hearing, speech and psychological barriers could be cured and that left-behind children (those whose parents have left their homes to find better paying jobs in cities) and impoverished children do not feel lonely anymore.
In future, the welfare program initiative, along with the 18 pop stars, will conduct a series of public welfare programs. This new model of public welfare carried out by powerful celebrities will be continued on a regular basis, and hopefully pass down more love. Let's look forward to the positive outcomes of this program in the winter.
