The China Children and Teenagers' Foundation (CCTF) was recognized as one of the winners in a nationwide campaign to select the top 50 representative social organizations and 100 outstanding individuals for their contributions to bringing "culture, science & technology, and health" to residents in rural China at an award ceremony held in Beijing last December.

The campaign was jointly organized by the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the Civilization Office of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Education, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), and several other central governmental agencies, with the aim of honoring representative social organizations and individuals for their engagement in providing rural residents with access to culture, science & technology, and healthcare services.

The CCTF is the sole charity organization to take the title in 2015.

Under the ACWF's guidance, the CCTF has proactively engaged itself in the relevant national campaign whilst sponsoring multiple charity programs to improve rural children's access to education, culture and healthcare services over the past three decades.

So far, it has raised a fund of more than three billion RMB (U.S.$456.3 million) in the assistance of children from poverty-stricken families across the entire nation since it was established in 1981.
