Local kids attend a drill on earthquakes. [CCTF]
The China Children and Teenagers' Foundation (CCTF) has taken immediate action to assist survivors and the relatives of victims in a 6.7-magnitude earthquake, which jolted Kaohsiung City in southeast China's Taiwan Province late at night on February 6.
The quake is the worst to hit Taiwan in six years and due to it being very shallow, at a depth of only 15 kilometers, it has led to a huge number of deaths and casualties and a massive level of destruction to buildings.
