China Children and Teenagers' Foundation(CCTF) is the first independent, non-profit charity organization in China, established in 1981. It is dedicated to resolving children and teenagers’ education and welfare issues. It has launched several welfare programs of great influence, including the Spring Bud Project which helped two million dropout girls in poverty-stricken areas return to schools, the Safe and Healthy Growth Project, and Action to Eliminate Anemia amongst Infants and Children.
In order to further adapt to social development and serve more children and their families, China Children and Teenagers’ Foundation plans to launch a comprehensive research on women and children’s insurance situation in China, with the result used as reference for the government to improve insurance for the two groups. This project will demonstrate the feasibility of commercial insurance as supplementary insurance for women and children.
