CCTF Unveils First "Reading Growth Plan -- Parent-Child Reading Club" in Beijing

The first "Reading Growth Plan – Parent-Child Reading Club" was officially unveiled at the China Children's Center in Beijing On May 29, 2018. The reading club was established by the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund (CCTF) and Tomorrow Advancing Life Education Group.

The Parent-Child Reading Club is equipped with many books in different categories, including Chinese culture, children's literature and art, popular science readings, and Chinese and English picture books, providing choices for children in different grades. In addition, some parent-child interactive game packs and e-reading terminal devices are also available to create an online reading platform.

Xu Xu, deputy secretary-general of the CCTF, attended the event, saying that this move is a concrete action to strengthen family and family tradition. The reading club provides parents and children with online and offline reading resources and a reading environment, giving parents guidance to read with children in correct ways.

Xu Xu, deputy secretary-general of the CCTF, presents Huo Siyan, an actress, with a letter of appointment for "Reading Growth Plan – Parent-Child Reading Club Ambassador”.

Tomorrow Advancing Life Education Group donated 15 million yuan to the CCTF in January, planning to hold a series of activities in the next five years to promote family parent-child reading and promote the healthy growth of children and youth.
