12-year-old boy saved others during quake

Facing severe disaster, many may choose to run or cry out for help. But today,we are going to tell you a heroic story of one little boy saving the lives of others during Monday's earthquake. Amazingly, the hero, is only a primary school student.

This is Chen Hao, a sixth grader from Yushi Primary school in Dujiangyan city.

Lying on a bed in the ICU room in one hospital in Chendu, Chen's is gradually recovering consciousness.

Chen then told his story. He and his classmates were studying in their classroom on Monday afternoon.

All of the sudden, the classroom began swaying and many of his classmates started running out of the building.

Realizing the wall beside him was swaying, he turned around and pushed a girl running behind him out of harm's way, before the wall toppled down. The girl and the others behind her survived. But the wall crashed down upon the young hero. He was buried beneath the rubble.
